About This Deal
Meet Sok Huh, L.Ac., a Virginia-licensed acupuncturist with more than 20 years of hands-on clinical and teaching experience in acupuncture, moxibustion (뜸) and East Asian herbal medicine. He treats patients at Sun Acupuncture of Nova, on the 2nd floor of the Nova Medical Center building in Fairfax.
Sok Huh is a real, traditionally trained acupuncturist. He has practiced in a Korean hospital alongside multidisciplinary medical teams, taught Acupuncture and Moxibustion as a professor in Vancouver, Canada, and in Virginia has worked side by side with orthopedic physicians on pain and rehabilitation care. He is NCCAOM board-certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology.
What makes him different is how he listens to your body. Many patients come in for one complaint, such as a stiff neck, low back pain or poor sleep, and leave understanding how it connects to tension, posture or stress they never noticed. Your first visit starts with a thorough consultation, so he can look at the whole picture and build a treatment plan around you, not just your symptoms.
Patients know him for a precise, gentle needle and traditional Korean 뜸 (moxibustion). Every session uses single-use sterile needles, and he gives you post-care guidance after each visit so you can get the most out of your treatment.
Popular reasons to visit:
Neck, shoulder and low back pain
Knee and joint discomfort
Headaches and tension
Recovery after injury
Stress, fatigue and sleep
Acupuncture works best as a series. Spacing sessions over time lets Sok Huh refine your care as your body responds.
