About The Adventure Park at Heritage Museums and Gardens

The four acres of woodlands that surround Heritage Museum aren't any ordinary forest. Zip lines, wooden bridges, and rope courses weave throughout the trees here, letting visitors as young as seven explore the canopies with the ease of a squirrel wearing a jetpack. Organized by difficulty level, five of these Aerial Adventure trails allow pretty much everyone to journey amid the trees, and more than 65 challenges help both children and adults develop skills such as teamwork, endurance, and confidence.

Perhaps the biggest thing The Adventure Park achieves is connecting its visitors to nature. Back on the ground, a Forest Walk winds deeper into the area, signs along its path profiling the flora and fauna of the area. Both experiences hope to educate on the geology, ecology, and overall ecosystem of the Cape Cod area, including its diverse species of Kennedy.
