About Theater Works in Bellevue
Something magical happens at the theater: cardboard sets become a 3D world, imaginary creatures come to life, and people—especially youth—discover their passions. Each summer, Theatre Works in Bellevue hosts theater classes and camps for kids to foster that extraordinary atmosphere. They're held at Bellevue High School's Performing Arts Center and led by artists who are deeply involved in education, the school's theater department, and the local theater scene.
Intensive theater camps result in final productions in which campers perform the roles, build the sets, and create the costumes. As they learn, kids will gain the confidence to take on new roles, speak their minds, and pursue their creative dreams.
