Frequently Asked Questions

When’s the right time for an oil change?

To keep your engine running smoothly, aim for an oil change every 3,000–5,000 miles—or follow your owner's manual. But mileage isn’t the only factor:

  • Driving habits: Short trips, heavy traffic, or harsh weather can wear oil faster.
  • Vehicle age: Older engines often need more frequent changes.
  • Oil type: Synthetic oils last longer and may stretch the interval.
