About Westwood Art Gallery

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

We offer a virtual framing service with frame visualization software, art restoration for paintings, photographs and works on paper, as well as frame restoration, art appraising, art sourcing, and auction services, pick up, delivery and shipping options, art installation and hanging, reproduction services for artists, printing on metal, canvas, and paper, floater frames, canvas stretching, Lucite boxes, welded and finished corner frames, period reproductions, french matting, oversize framing, and special projects.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

An artist turned-framer, I started framing at Frame King in Fort Lee, N.J. in 1983, where I subsequently became manager of the gallery's frame shop operations. In 1988, I took over ownership and in 1999 opened Westwood Gallery. With Gary, Claire, and myself, it has been our privilege to serve the entire metro region for the past 37 years.

What do you love most about your job?

Seeing something new every day, whether clients projects and art or new frame designs we don't have yet. Also, getting to know our clients and collaborating with them to select the perfect frame to compliment their art and style.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

Seeing smiles, appreciation and sometimes emotional tears, at the finished project
