1. Get Pampered at the Red Door Spa

Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon and Spa has won a CRDA Atlantic City Host Award for Best Spa Personnel, and is a calm, welcoming spot for facials, body scrubs, mani-pedis, and massages, plus special seasonal treatments.

2. Sample Everything at Martorano's

Martorano's counts Al Pacino himself among its fans. Helmed by restaurateur Steve Martorano, called "the Godfather of Italian-American cooking," Martorano's specializes in meatballs, pastas, and other Italian staples. You'll enjoy dinnertime entertainment as well, with Rat Pack–style tunes starting at 6 p.m.

3. Learn Pasta-making at Viking Kitchen School

Instead of going out for lunch, make your own meal at the resort's Viking Kitchen School. Call ahead before the weekend to see what kind of meal the chefs can teach you to whip up, with options ranging from a champagne brunch to classic Italian pastas.

4. Unwind along AC's Best Pool

Whatever the weather outside, you can enjoy some time at Harrah's indoor pool atrium, a year-round indoor oasis heated to a balmy 82 degrees. If it's Saturday, be a part of the DJ, games, and happy hour that takes place in the afternoon. You can even have lunch at the pool (think burgers, salads, and wraps).

5. Admire the Sunset at Veracruz

Named after the coastal region of Mexico that's known for its fresh seafood and tropical fruits, Veracruz offers a wide array of Spanish and Mexican street fare, including tacos, tortas, guacamole, and ceviche. And due to its location in the resort, it's one of the few restaurants in Atlantic City to offer great sunset views.

6. Savor a Filet at Gordon Ramsay Steak

You can't come to an Atlantic City casino without having a steak. Snag a reservation at Gordan Ramsay Steak, helmed by the iconic British TV personality. In addition to a number of steaks (all aged for at least 40 days), the restaurant offers the "Ultimate Raw Bar Experience," including caviar, lobster, sashimi, jumbo lump crab, and oysters.

7. Hit the Waterfront Shops

Harrah's Waterfront Shops are a shopper's paradise. Browse the ladies' fashion accessories at Studio Shoes and the clothes for guys at Top Drawer, find a romantic gift at two jewelry stores, or have a little pre-dinner snack at Sugar Squared.

8. Dance all Night at the Pool After Dark

Available on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights starting at 10 p.m., The Pool After Dark attracts top-flight DJs and celebrities—Paris Hilton, 50 Cent, and DJ Pauly D have all been spotted at the impromptu nightclub.

9. Find Your Game...Among 2,000+ Slots

We can't imagine you heading to Harrah's Atlantic City without spending time in the casino. Start at more than 2,000 slot machines and video-poker games on Harrah's main floor. At Harrah's, some of the slots are entertainment in and of themselves, especially the Space Invaders-, The Simpsons-, Betty White-, and Willy Wonka-themed games.

You could also try your hand at Harrah's table games, including one of the daily tournaments in the Poker Room, an official venue for World Series of Poker circuit events. You'll also find a wide variety of twists on classic games, including Fortune Pai Gow and Let It Ride, a five-card stud poker game. And there are more 50 progressive blackjack games linked across Caesars properties.

10. Savor Lobster at McCormick & schmick's

Harrah's premiere seafood joint, McCormick & Schmick's takes advantage of its East Coast location by updating its menu twice a day with new "fresh catches." You can try Alaskan halibut, New Zealand Grouper, lobster, and more. And if seafood isn't your thing, they have a scntillating selection of steaks as well.
