If you want to do something exciting with your hair, go to this guy!

It took me a bit to find the building, but the website shows the picture of the storefront. remember its a business within a business so it doesn't say "Desoto inspirations" on the sign out front, which I assumed I would see. My bad.

I really enjoyed James Desoto skill and master of the art that is hair :) very friendly guy and very funny. He worked magic on my hair and it turned out amazing. I couldn't be happier with the results.

James was wonderful! The BEST high-lights I have ever had! Wonderful! He is my new long term hairdresser!

In the short year that I have lived here, I have never found a salon or specific hair stylist that I liked in Albuquerque until I recently visited DeSoto Inspirations. James is a genuine gentleman that cares about his clients and their hair. He is very knowledgeable and professional with his work. I highly recommend individuals to make an appointment with him on his website because it is easy, fast and convenient. I am proud to say that I will be a regular customer at DeSoto Inspirations.

This is the first stylist that I have found in Albuquerque that actually listened and cut and colored my hair the way I asked. He even went the extra mile to correct the highlight issues I had from previous salons that were not the way I wanted them. He could have just touched up my roots and I would have been happy but he took pride in his work which is a fabulous and refreshing change for a hair stylist!!

he hair stylist also was very nice about showing me how to get the same style at home that he was doing in the salon, and showed me some good techniques to get the same volume. He also listened to what I wanted and what my future plans for my hair were and helped me to pick the right hair cut. Other salons usually are not very helpful in this area and just want to know how you want it cut and give no advice.
