I thought the Behind-the-Scenes Tour was well planned out. I loved that me & my boyfriend were the only ones in our group, so our intern let us take a little longer at the enclosures to be sure we got the time we wanted. I loved how knowledgable and intriguing our intern was, he really provided us with a lot of information. And of course, seeing & learning more about the Wood Bison was very amazing. Feeding & playing with the baby moose, and being so close to brown bears were definitely my two favorite things. I really love the AWCC's mission & all it's doing to fulfill it.

It was the best experience I have ever had with animals. Their park is so much better on many different levels than the Alaska Zoo located in Anchorage; actually has a different concept. I absolutely LOVED it!! Their programs of survivability for the animals is the best in the Nation and in the world, I believe. Ex: Wood Bison
