Amid the stately storefronts of historic Annapolis stands Harry Browne's, an elegant eatery that has teemed with gourmet Continental cuisine and international wines for more than 35 years. In the 1930s-era dining room, servers ferry out the restaurant's most acclaimed dishes—steaming bowls of cream of crab soup, platters piled with crab cakes, full racks of lamb, and seasonal specialties. The scallopsand shrimp were the best I have had in a long time. We were seated by the window and had a nice view of the State Senate Building It was pretty and landscaped with summer flowers Our waiter was pleasant and friendly. We were close to the city dock and took the Water Taxi back to Truxton Park where we parked our car. It was a nice day to be out on the water. Annapolis is a great place to live.

Lovely dinner with friends! This is a great deal for the restaurant which is in the middle of downtown and very nice.

The food is really GOOD! The service, from the hostess to the waitperson(s) is professional, personable, and gracious. One negative is (and we see this at many restaurants in Annapolis) the wine list is not current - so we had to choose 4X before we found a wine that was available. However, finally we found one and the meal was very enjoyable.

Ambiance is wonderful as always. Food was superb. Uncharacteristically the server was standoffish. Charles. Seems like we were a nuisance to him. But overall, like always, a 5 star experience.

We've been to Harry Brown's a number of times and have never been disappointed with both service or dinner selections. There is a fun bar upstairs and a beautiful eating area on the first floor.

Host was welcoming. Server was attentive. Beet salad was excellent. Beets come from a farm in Calvert county. Food was superb. Would definitely return.
