About Asap Cleaners

The chefs at Swagath Indian Restaurant assemble a menu of meatless Indian specialties cooked with healthy ingredients and robust, exotic flavors. Reaching for organic and seasonal items whenever possible, chefs roll up crepe-like dosas made from a variety of grains and top them with anything from chutney to curry to onions sliced as thin as sitar strings. Thicker South Indian pancakes, or uthappam, come studded with cheese, chilies, or veggies, and rice dishes arrive seasoned with tamarind, raw coconut, or fresh homemade yogurt. More than a dozen entrees showcase stars of the crisper draw, such as cauliflower, eggplant, okra, or peas, and a trio of garlic- and onion-free dishes cater kindly to kissing-booth employees.

The place isn't very aesthetic, and our server was wearing jeans and a sweatshirt... but both the food and service were fantastic (try the aloo gobi!) If you don't like spicy food, be sure to ask your server to have it be prepared mild, they do a great job of cooking to order

Service could be better...had to wait more than 30 minutes for my order of two curries and kulcha to be delivered at the table.

The south Indian food is good, do not expect great service or even any service. The waiting staff and even the lady who owns the restaurant seemed to know little about the menu and their interaction with the customer left a sour taste. If you are ordering take out - note that if your order from the menu (if you can manage to get hold of one since their website is down) will cost you $11.95 for a 16 oz order. However, order the same curry and tell them you want the 32 oz pack and they will give it to you for $12!!! I know it does not make sense to me!

Swagath used to be our Go-to restaurant for South Indian cuisine but after our last experience there we don't think we are going back. The food quality was terrible. One of the curries (sambhar) that they served had gone bad and when we complained they brought us just some more of the same stuff. The chutney was almost like someone had just poured water in it! This is the first time we went at Lunch time and so not sure if ordering from the menu while the buffet was on was a bad idea. We are not going back here.
