Friendly staff. Great place to stay. I have stayed there probably 10 or 12 times since 2009. I got engaged at prime in 2012. The only thing I'd suggest is please bring prime back. My husband and I were very disappointed to hear it closed.

We booked Nov. 7th, a Monday night. We had planned to spend the weekend in Atlantic City at another hotel. We received a call from someone from the Chelsea on Saturday informing us that the hotel was closing during the week, offseason, for maintenance. Since we were already in the city, our reservation was honored. Unfortunately, the restaurant and pool were closed. We had been looking forward to experiencing all the Chelsea had to offer. It was kind of fun being the only guests in the hotel, and the front desk guys and the security guards were great, but we would recommend keeping an eye on the calendar when booking!
