About Crazy Dash Digital Adventures-Austin

Crazy Dash Digital Adventures' "dashes" are sort of like walking tours—if walking tours were guided by smartphones and sometimes involved kissing a parking meter. Dash participants chart a course between 20+ checkpoints, following a route mapped out on their phones. The checkpoints range from historical sites to hole-in-the-wall boutiques; at each one, teams of two to four work together to answer trivia questions, collect clues for the race's culminating question, and pose for wacky pictures that can earn them bonus points. The contest-like setup ignites competitive spirits, but along the way, racers also learn about local history and hot spots.

Make sure your smartphone is fully charged before starting your Dash...and once you start, let loose & have fun with the Crazy Tasks (no matter who is watching.)

Really fun; 4-6 participants would be ideal Inthink

It is so much fun. My only recommendations are to wear comfortable shoes, bring a fun group, and keep your phone or camera charged.

This was just information that anyone can find on the internet, along with google street maps. I was very disappointed as this was supposed to the "fun" thing I was doing for my daughter, and letting her friends come along with us for her birthday. We ended up just ditching the scavenger hunt, "game", and walked around downtown, because none of the kids, (including myself), thought it was fun.

Interesting concept, but most questions were not very challenging. It was more of a tour than a scavenger hunt. It would have been nice to know the total walking distance in advance. It was too hot for us to make it to all the stops.
