Emblazoned with patriotic red, white, and blue, Lone Star Riverboat's vessels churn through Lady Bird Lake, floating alongside towering cypress trees and the city's skyline. Meanwhile, the captain's booming voice narrates each tour.
However, the company's aquatic excursions aren't just restricted to sightseeing. Their largest ship, The Lone Star, boasts two decks and a 120-person capacity. Aboard the ship, DJs spin tunes and caterers serve barbecue for special events such as weddings. On Friday nights, patrons board The Lone Star for moonlight cruises, taking in scenic views of the Austin skyline.
Lone Star Riverboat's enthusiasm for the water extends to environmental preservation. According to its website, the company owns the largest all-electric paddle wheeler in the country. It also donates a portion of its gross sales to the Austin area's park system and provides after-school activities for at-risk fish.

Great fun! Beautiful cruise of downtown skyline. Wonderful, friendly and hospitable captains. Smooth ride. Interesting and fun commentary presented.

We loved! We go each year with my parents and kids, this time with my brother who was visiting! We always recomended it. We enjoy the atmosphere, even in December, the weather was very nice today❤️is a wonderful experience!

Truly enjoyed Riverboat ride! We are from Austin and had never been before. Enjoyed hearing about the old and new buildings downtown and some Austin history. Boat is clean, ride is very smooth and safe for anyone. Enjoyed meeting guests from around the world on board as well. Friendly,, fun, knowledgeable crew! Great photo opportunities as well.

I really enjoyed the ride....a little COLD with the winds, just make sure to Bundle Up this time of year....just a Beautiful day 😀. OHHHH, an important detail about PARKING!! Very difficult finding a spot, so I parked in the Hyatt parking where you pay on your phone..$14.00 for 1 hour.
When we returned to the lot....there were at least 3 booted cars!! OMG...that's gonna be a pricey mistake.

It was a great hour. Just enough time to learn some new things about Austin. The host was entertaining. You can bring your own adults drinks and snacks!! Highly recommend.
