Basketball season isn’t the most important time for a player according to Coach Isaac Watson: it’s the off-season. To keep kids’ skills sharp, Coach Isaac hosts year-round clinics and camps through BBallers United. Though geared toward boys and girls ages 13–18, sessions are open to young athletes of all ages and experience levels looking to enrich their game. Under Coach Isaac’s tutelage, ballers exhaust themselves with drills that hone individual quickness, ball handling, and proper shooting technique. And since the game is as much psychological as it is physical, students learn tricks for handling the pressure that comes from playing intimidating players or teams. That being said, players do sample some on-court action during scrimmages meant to instill fundamental team dynamics.
