About Rangeley Lakes Trails Center

Maine's western mountain and lake region transforms during winter. Annual snowfall approaches 200 inches on average, creating miles of wooded and open areas ripe for nordic skiing. Rangeley Lakes Trails Center is a destination for that winter sport, and it rents out skis so even novice visitors can explore miles of trails. The center further complements winter fun with snowshoe and fat bike rentals, hot drinks, and soup sold at a rustic yurt. In warmer months, visitors can walk the trails and imagine that the grass is actually snow.
