About Conrad Gallagher Food

Conrad Gallagher has many roles—television personality, restaurateur, and cookbook author, to name a few—but the same passion for cooking that he puts into each of these tasks garnered his restaurant a Michelin star when he was 24, making him the youngest starred chef at the time. He began his training in Ireland at the age of 12, when most other kids are too busy playing games or collecting seagull feathers. Conrad's persistent dedication paid off in the form of numerous awards and accomplishments, including preparing a St. Patrick's Day dinner for President Bill Clinton at the White House. These days, Conrad stretches his talents to other fields, such as menu planning and restaurant development. He also schools laymen in the kitchen with cooking lessons that focus on specific genres, including Italian, French, and seafood. Gift certificates are available for purchase.

Great for beginner cooks who want to learn classic Italian. It's not hands on (my perception) you watch the Chef cook as he explains the meals, then taste. It was worth it.

Wonderful experience. Lots of great instruction and insight. Open format so you need to get in there, but fun the whole time. Would love to do again.

Lotsa food, lots instruction. Crowded when we were there but everyone cooperated & got along. Not much opportunity for hands-on participation, chef does most of the work himself.

Get involved when asked if you want to help. Conrad is amazing and welcomes everyone to participate and it enhances the experience. Ask questions, Conrad didn't make me feel foolish even with my dumbest question "are scallops ever farmed? nearly Impossible but he never flinched and just said no."

He was so enjoyable to watch and very skilled. I learned so much about how to purchase quality food and the proper methods to prepare it. The food we ate was so delicious! The scallops were the best I've ever tasted!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in cooking!!
