About Biggest Loser Resort Chicago

Not everyone can be a contestant on NBC's reality show The Biggest Loser. And so, in an effort to help more Americans get fit, the reality show has added three other resorts to its cadre of wellness retreats. In addition to the famous ranch in Malibu, California (the setting of the TV show), there are now resorts in Niagara Falls, Utah, and suburban Chicago.

Though each resort has different amenities, they all share a commitment to exercise, wellness education, and calorie-controlled eating, echoing the ethos of the TV show. Guests may find themselves hiking through a scenic forest in the morning and participating in a boot-camp-style group workout led by an experienced instructor in the afternoon. To fuel those workouts, they enjoy three nutritionally balanced spa meals per day, planned by registered dietitians and cooked by executive chefs. They also learn a wealth of info from daily wellness classes, which cover topics such as menu planning, shopping smart, and eating healthy while traveling. Most resorts also have onsite spas and salons, so guests can treat themselves to soothing massages or haircuts to help complete their makeovers.
