About Hansen Performance Horses

At Hansen Performance Horses, riders of all ages and experience levels saddle up under the direction of Teresa Hansen, who has owned and shown horses for more than 25 years and has coached amateurs to top finishes at prestigious competitions. Hooves gallop across the Hansen family's training facility, which consists of a heated indoor arena, an outdoor arena, and a climate-controlled viewing room for onlookers and curious TVs considering new career paths. Aside from private, one-on-one lessons, aspiring gauchos can earn their spurs during an assortment of different lessons, including therapeutic sessions for autistic children, as well as instruction in Western pleasure, hunter under-saddle, and reining divisions.

Every person is different. Try the open mind approach instead of the attack and defensive manner. The rudeness from Theresa, Owner was unacceptable and very unprofessional. I would not recommend nor every have a kind word to say about this establishment. The first lesson was a nightmare. The horse Hanna was the chosen lesson horse and my daughter felt it was animal cruelty as Theresa instructed my daughter to KICK enormously at the horse , that is NOT a horse that needs to be ridden - retired from lessons for sure! You may want to revisit doing lessons with outside folks if your temper/patience is not under control Theresa. All I can say is your demeanor from the time we walked in for our FIRST lesson was unsettling. I really do NOT want my daughter to be a part of this , it should be enjoyable. We will pray for your business.
