Seriously funnnnn
Enjoyed excusion, instructor very helpful and professional.
The tandem kayak was very uncomfortable (even for a young person with no back problems). Nicer kayaks with back support would be great, or if they warned prospective customers that a kayak may not be the most comfortable for the 2+ hour trip. Also, the trip was advertised as an eco-tour with commentary by a guide, however our guide did not provide much commentary on the local surroundings at all.
Let people know to meet in the park - instead of looking for a house number on Spencer Street.
Advise people to bring water (let them know they can take it in a kayak)
Let people know you head downstream and are taxied back.
You should probably be a bit more detailed in terms of safety - no asked if anyone in the group could swim -no one asked what level of experience the group had. It was a fun day and I recommend Heritage River to others.
I was happy paying $38 for this adventure, but I'm would not have felt it was worth $79. However, it was very well organized and was a good time for sure
The guide was super friendly and the route was not only beautiful but also perfect for both beginners and experienced canoers.
good job
Give some commentary on the flora and fauna along the river banks as canoeists pass by.
I had a wonderful time and did not feel too bad I could not keep up with the others as I had my trusty friend with me and my team leader Mike stayed with us all the way giving me instructions on what may be up ahead and how to approach any interesting parts to the Grand.
