The only thing they could improve on is call backs, it took them awhile to get back to me when I called for an appt.
It was beautiful! I was running late and they greeted me with smiles and helped me to relax and get in the right frame of mind to truly enjoy my message and facial. I will be going back!!!
Massage was great; facial was okay. Very friendly staff - made me feel comfortable upon arriving. Massage therapist would check in during the massage to ensure pressure was right. Overall extremely relaxing. Felt great during and afterwards. My one suggestion -- I'd change up the music a little bit.
Not as professioanal in appearance or staff as other Spas.
Have the bathroom in the spa, not in the public hallway.
I had been here previously when it was named something else. I thought it weird that the bathroom is outside the spa and that you needed a key to get access. Not exactly relaxing. The funny music during the massage felt like mid-90's easy listening. While the staff was very friendly and nice, they pushed too much their if you like the service, we'll give you a deal if you pay now for next appointment.
The therapist was clearly a beginning (inexperienced) massage therapist who then also gave me my facial (in which he had clearly had even less experience). Not worth my time and I would not go back.
In offering to change out a male masseuse for a female and communicating with each other, the door opened about 4-5 times while I was on the table under the sheet/blank. The female was better but not the best massage I've had, was not as relaxed or refreshed as I thought I would be. When giving change back for tip, followed masseuse downstairs to a different business, even outside to get change. Very weird experience overall.
I thought the massage was very unprofessional. Before my masseur started, I had to remind him that my head should go on the special head pillow because I was face down (he had to attach it to the massage table). Also, after my massage when the woman came in to give me my facial, all she did was try to sell me anti-aging products (the Galvonic? and some creams) even after I indicated I wasn't interested in those products. Also, the facial wasn't really a facial. That would have been fine if that's what was advertised. The woman didn't steam my face, unclog my pores, put on a mask, or do anything in the traditional sense of the facial. And I am very open-minded, but she didn't seem to know what she was doing. She cleansed my skin, used the Galvonic, which was supposed to give results similar to a face lift (I'm only 31), and then rubbed some special cream on my face. The "facial" was more like 15minutes as opposed to the promised 30 minutes. Overall, I was very disappointed. The "spa" seemed pretty hokey and like they were trying to make it nicer than it was. I definitely would not recommend Landmark again. Too bad.
The massage was unusual.. no pressure and alot of light tapping. The facial was just a few appkications of gel and lotions and smoothed with a hand machine. No steam, mask or extractions
