Tough to play in the afternoon in Castle Rock as storms always roll in but course was in good condition except the greens were very slow and shaggy. They were still in good shape they just don't roll very fast.

On one occasion tee times were running one hour behind and we were not told this . We paid and waited and waited and eventually went off one hour and ten min. late which resulted in not being able to complete 18 holes due to darkness settingin. We were constantly waiting on each hole due to groups in front. Very poor scheduling. This occurred on 9/19 and I had to leave town the following morning other wise I would have called to complain. When we finally had to quit due to darkness there was no one in the pro shop and it was locked up so we were unable to voice our displeasure. The least they could have done was told us up front how much of a delay there was and some how compensate us. We paid for 18 holes and were only able to play 14.

Golf course was technical, not for beginners. Our cart died at the end of the course, that was a bummer.

VERY challenging course. The service was not real good. Assuming it was because its towards the end of the season, but the bathrooms were locked, no beverage cart, and slow service at the bar in the restaurant (probably because everyone had to go in there on the turn). Was definitely understaffed, but outside of that was a great round of golf
