This was a very "hands-on" experience where everyone that attends gets involved with every step of the learning process. It was fun, informative, and enlightening and the guys that run the place strongly encourage keeping in touch with them after you go home and start to bake your own breads. I feel like a long lasting friendship has begun with these bakers as a result of attending this class.
Fun hands-on experience. The class was well paced, and Ashton was engaging and willing to answer all questions.
Because my friend and I had conflicting schedules, we waited for a Saturday. It was a cold, rainy Saturday in the City, but worth the wait. Fun thing to do with others/strangers. I've always wanted to learn how bread is made, and wanted a hands-on experience. Ashton's knowledge and humor gave me hope, "I can do this".
Best bread making class in the bay!
Cat was a great instructor! I'm so happy I now a sourdough culture, AND I'm confident that I can keep it alive.
Kat was very passionate and informative. The class itself was hands-on and really gave us insight into this sourdough culture. My favorite part was at the end of the class when we got to consume our creations with yummy olive oil, arugula, and parmesan cheese
Great class, great fun!
It was a very informative class on making a starter and using it to make flatbread. My nieces loved it!
Amazing! Chef Cat is super knowledgeable, friendly and fun. It was more interactive than I thought it would be, and educational. I would recommend this class to any baking level.
Great setting, teacher, and bread!
