I would definitely recommend these tours. Our guide for the Blood, Guns, and Valentine tour provided us with a lot of great information.

Awesome tour, everyone on my group loved it and the only disagreement was about which Weird Chicago Tour we should take next.

Lame tour with very low information, and sites visited had little to do with any of the narratives. Plus mode of transportation is a yellow school bus.

"Devil in the White City" Tour Excellent tour, worth the money!! Get there early to be sure you find the correct tour bus. The directions on the confirmation ticket said to catch the bus in front of the McDonalds across from the Rainforest Cafe (between Ontario and Ohio) but the bus was actually on Ohio (across from the McDonalds) heading East. Look for the yellow school bus. Get there early for the best seats in the front of the bus. Second, make sure you read the book first or at least the Cliff Notes online....Kevin, our tour guide, was excellent! He is very articulate, has a great speaking voice, and very informative. The three-hour tour took us through downtown Chicago, past the Rookery, over to Jackson Park, the site of the World's Fair, where we disembarked and learned a little history about the area and what to look for while there. Before leaving the area, there was a restroom break before heading out for the rest of the tour. There were several other stops where you can get off, learn about the history and events that took place in the book, as well as seeing the site where the "castle" and drug store once stood. Other sites included on the tour that was not from the book were Jane Adams-Hull House and the spot where Mrs. O'Leary's cow supposedly knocked over the lamp to start the Great Chicago fire. Lots of great information and cool surprises in store. You will enjoy this one. :)
