About Escape Obstacle Run

Sometimes, the best way to forget about the pain of the day-to-day grind is to put yourself through physical hell—but not without some snacks on the horizon. Conveniently, Escape Obstacle Run combines an untimed 5K mud run with music and munchies, making for a liberating experience that's as much about relaxation as it is conquering hurdles.

Spread across 1,100 acres in Chino Hills, the course challenges runners to climb, crawl, and scamper past 20 different obstacles, many of which take advantage of the natural terrain to make runners wish they'd rather be arm-wrestling a rhino. Once crossing the finish line, however, participants dance the rest of the day away to the beats of 10 different DJs and enjoy street food doled out by a whole cavalcade of food trucks. The event also encourages everyone to bring picnic blankets, coolers, and beach chairs to simply spend some time lazing in the park.

It was my first mud run and it was great for beginners or one to do for fun My only suggestions would be to have more than 1 water station throughout the obstacles, first aid or walkie talkies for the volunteers so when someone is hurt they can let first aid know, and out houses It was a great experience overall though
