About Lucky Cat Studio

Owner Emily Momohara and her staff at Lucky Cat Studio are masters of art within art. In addition to their classic portrait photography, they take snapshots of paintings, sculptures, theatrical performances, and other works, whether they're situated inside a studio or at a separate location. Some of these images might even be of the process—an artist sketching on canvas or considering schematics, for example. Momohara also puts her editing experience to work by restoring old or damaged photographs. Using negatives or high-quality scans of the image, she fixes blemishes and fading to produce clarified color and black-and-white versions.
