beautiful place with warm , friendly people

Outstanding; superb; "words cannot say"; incredible service and genuine attention; wonderful food; extremely convenient for skiing and boarding; ambiance at its best; had a ceramic cup of coffee at four a.m. in the morning! beautiful music and surroundings.

The hotel is beautiful nestle at the highest point of Stowe. The facilities are impressive along with the service from the valet to the front desk, fitness room and housekeeping. The food restaurant was excellent except for our last day there for breakfast. We were the first to sit down in the morning and they were disorganized. Handing us the wrong menus to making unnecessary noise scraping a food warmer with a fork. I was annoyed that and our waiter's was trying too hard to impress us by explaining that the lox was not mixed with the cream cheese. If you know what lox is as do most people it's not a spread. Other than that the accommodations were wonderful. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the fireplace in our suite. A minor complaint, but not critical was the TV should have been at least a 42 -46 inch LED/LCD.

The customer service is exceptional to say the least! The ammenities and lodging is second to none. The food at Solstice is superb! It is a place worth visiting again and again...
