About Southern California Food Tours

Barb Trenchi loves living in Coronado. To her, the island's history, food, and tree-lined streets all tell the same story, a tale which she shares through Southern California Food Tours. Barb kicks off her tours by the historic Boathouse, showing off one of the region's most recognizable sights before wending down side streets. The tours lead to several area eateries that share some of the island's best dishes. Along the way, you might enjoy samples of Mexican cuisine, fresh olive oil, and italian-style gelato.

We didn't really see the value in the tour, the restaurants were just ok and the samples were tiny.

Tour guide was very friendly and informative but we thought the food part would be a culinary type lesson - even though the vinegar shop was great - the quick stops at the restaurants weren't needed - definitely for a tourist.
