About The Velvet House

It took Vincent van Gogh a full month to paint The Starry Night, but artists attending classes at The Velvet House need only a few hours. Created in the spirit of a 1900s-era Parisian art salon, the space celebrates making art and drinking spirits by hosting BYOB painting sessions every Thursday–Saturday. After enough wine, paint, and paint-sweat has flowed, students of all experience levels leave with their very own version of a renowned artwork. In addition to alcohol-free sessions for families, The Velvet House welcomes plenty of art exhibitions throughout the year.
