If working on the glasses mosaic bring a picture to place under the glass for a guideline. It is really fun and relaxing.

Took my daughter to a glass fussion class and had fun creating. My daughter is creative but unfortunately that gene did not come from me. They had lots of examples and ideas for designs for those of us who have trouble. stepping outside the box.

Bring your creative ideas because it took us a while to figure out how to design our items then after you design it you have to glue each little piece down

Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation. The shop looks like a regular house from the outside, and when you first walk into the craft shop, it's a bit overwhelming. There is an abundance of craft stuff everywhere, and you can barely get through the isles. You can definitely tell it's a mom and pop joint, and that they've been in business for almost 40 years. It's like waking into a shop in Yellow Springs, which is one of my favorite places :) The class itself was fun. My friend and I made cool glass candy dishes, and I can't wait to pick it up in a week after it's been fired. I would definitely go back for another class.
