We had a really great time at the Lake Superior Zoo! We went on a Sunday in December, and there was hardly anybody there, which I thought actually made it more fun. It is a pretty small zoo. We went to all of the "talks" that were at the various exhibits and learned a lot. We also went to the lion training, which was really cool. We would definitely go back. They are building a bear exhibit - I would like to go back and see that when it's done. The tiger was probably my favorite animal there, he was coming right up to the glass and standing on his back legs with his front paws on the glass and it was just so cool to see him that close.

Its always fun to visit new places! We especially enjoyed watching the monkeys.

Beautiful little zoo!

We went on a cold winter day, and plan to go back during summer. We loved the close proximity to the animals, the layout and charm of it, and the friendly employees and volunteers.

Good size zoo for little ones. We went in the winter but I'm sure the summer would be better - more animals to see.

Looks a little cold for some.of the outdoor exhibit animals (lions) but was an excellent zoo. Most animals had room to move and were being fed as we arrived, good conditions that we saw throughout and the tiger was amazing.

Very well kept zoo with content animals. Not the largest zoo but great plenty for our toddler. We'll definitely be back!
