Very friendly and they have a great variety of activities
The park is very clean and nice to attend. We were very surprised how much there is to do there. The gem mining and dinosaurs were very fun.
Panning for gems was a fun new touch
Great place! Go when it is cooler - most of it is outdoors
Loved it. Pleasantly surprised when we got into the park. Clean, organized, relaxing, educational and well laid out. Great for all ages. Have gone back since our first visit and loved it just as much. A very nice change from the over priced, crowded theme parks and the kids had such a great time.
Its a fun outing for kids if you have about 3 hours to spend. We were looking for something different that was easy and low-key...no crowds, etc. Very low stress. Dinosaur World was perfect for my 4 and 7 year old who love animals and exploring trails. Its definitely not on the same level with any of the other theme parks, but if you can appreciate it for what it is, then its a fun outing for the family :)
Plan to spend more than half a day there
The kids had a lot of fun...we adults learned a few facts we hadn't know too, so it was a win win for is all! About 3 hours is enough to explore the park & let the kids play
Bring your own food and drinks. They do not offer food or drinks there. However, they do offer picnic tables to eat. At the children's playground and another area of the park.
Also, if you go when the weather has just turned cold, if it has been raining a lot, or if there is a warming trend then be sure to bring mosquito protection. There is a big sand box for children to play in, they set it up so they are pretending to be archeologists digging up fossils, so be prepared for that because the first time I went my boys had socks and sneakers and the sand is somewhat sticky.
Other than that prepare for fun and perhaps taking many photos, especially if your little ones are dinosaur lovers like mine. It is a great place.
Closes at 5 so allow time.
