Go early and hungry. You can have your food while you are there. They have coffee and some other beverages as well.

My tip for others is be prepared to meet the NICEST, SWEETEST, couple ever who own the bakery! YUMMY, cookies, cinnamon rolls, everything is GREAT!!!

The strawberry cupcakes I ordered for Mother's day were delicious! I love supporting local businesses like Hometown Bakery. Also, their cinnamon rolls are amazing! The place smells so good when you walk in, you'll want to try everything!

It's just a very nice place to do business...very homey...once you get to know Rhonda she warms up to you...little standoffish at first...I have never had a problem with anything I purchased and she has gone above and beyond to satisfy me. The carrot cake I just ordered was just ok though...I make one that is better than theirs but didn't feel like baking. Their apple fritters are the best I've ever had!!

Try the breakfast muffins like the texas muffin, they are to die for. The friendliest, nicest shop owner I ever met, I will always go back when I am in the mood for bakery:)
