This is an amazing hidden gem! It’s so well curated and highly immersive. I’m not a war history buff but I loved this place.

The museum is full of so much detailed information where history comes alive! The staff in the gift shop is very friendly and welcoming. Great plan to spend the day learning of the past and seeing how we got to where we are today.

Coming here was definitely a good decision. They have the only known surviving medical cart from the era and so many more cool things to see. The view outside is breathtaking and worth the trip alone. They give you an easy to follow guide to go through the museum and staff was super friendly. I was thoroughly impressed at the level of information and artifacts present. Definitely a must see.

For those who are into Civil War history, the place is a goldmine. Had a chance to speak with one of the tour guides and he was such a wealth of information.
