About Flying Vikings

Established in 1989, Flying Vikings aviation school has certified many pilots in its lifetime. The owners honed their curriculum and expanded their fleet over the years, and the school's two locations now boast a flight simulator and large collection of Cessnas, Beeches, and Pipers between them. Teachers offer programs that help students explore a budding love or flying or train and test for FAA certifications to pilot small aircraft or own a cloud as a pet.

Flying Vikings is great. I went for the intro lesson a couple months ago, having never been in a small plane before. Today, for my seventh lesson, we did a Bay Tour: flying north over the Bay Bridge, left around Alcatraz, and straight over the Golden Gate before heading south along the coast. I brought my dad with, and I think it’s safe to say this was an experience we will always treasure. Thanks, Flying Vikings — see you again in a couple weeks!

This was such an awesome experience! I had taken my brother here for his birthday and he had told me that his was one of the most amazing experiences of his life! Bob,the instructor, was a delight! He gave great direction and made the flight smooth It was very cool!

A unique and incredible experience. My daughter actually got to fly a plane. Her instructor and pilot, Kirk, took a lot of time to explain how the plane works and safety protocol before we even took off. The plane was very old, but it worked fine.
