The Wonderland Express was a festive and enjoyable outing. Enjoyed the trains and all of the miniature replicas of the Chicago landmarks. Make sure you watch the short movie on how everything is handmade out of all-natural materials and assembled within a one-week time frame. AMAZING!! Will take the grandkids next year!

how they construct the buildings is fascinating and the trains traveling throughout the displays added some magic to an already magical experience. The grounds are beautifully lit so I would suggest they remain open til 6 so people could come later to ensure they see the grounds.

The Wonderland Express exhibit was amazing! It is a must see for all ages. As we entered, there was a delicious looking gingerbread village made with all kinds of connections that were very tempting to sample. Then there were the trains which were fun to watch as they ran through a Chicago created from natural plant materials. The creativity was outstanding!

I have lived in the area for 30 years and have never been to the train exhibit at the Botanic Gardens. We were even members. We loved it. Took our two grandchildren: 1 and 3. They were in awe as well.
