About Mama Mia

Yukie Horata, the head chef at Mama Mia, has spent her entire culinary career proving people wrong. After spending most of her childhood helping her family cook meals at home, she graduated high school at the age of 16 and became the first female student in Japan’s Tsuji cooking school. This steeled her to complete her education and travel to Italy where she learned how to craft the elegant pastas seen today at Mama Mia.

• Pastas: handmade favorites include the provolone gnocchi stuffed with aged cheese and parsley then tossed in an arugula pesto sauce
• Butcher Shop: exquisite cuts of beef and lamb served in a variety of ways including veal francese and a filet mignon courvoisier
• Gourmet Pizzas: made to order pies include items such as the Louisiana pizza with crab meat and shrimp over lobster sauce
