It was amazing! Jake shared his knowledge about the manatees and the laws. I was nervous at first, but it was great. The wer suits are a must! And there were plenty of manatees wanting back, belly and chin rubs. He also recommended Chassahowitzka Campground to kayak. It is like an aquarium in the jungle. Best day ever.
What an incredible experience! We saw so many manatees and were able to swim along side them. They come right up to you! I also saw multiple sting rays, which was a huge plus. I HIGHLY recommend this company, as it's more intimate of an outing. :)

Captain Jack accommodated us for a last-minute request. When the tour was ending, a manatee approached apparently soliciting attention. Jack enthusiastically encouraged my son to re-enter the water to interact, and patiently waited while my son and the manatee hung out together in the water for over 1/2 hour! No guarantees that will happen of course, but it was clear that Jack loves what he does, loves the manatees, loves the Florida ecosystems that supports them, and wants his tours to be a meaningful experience for visitors.
He was also vocal and serious about treating the animals, the ecosystems, and protection laws with respect, which made me feel comfortable that he is running an ethical business that works to appreciate, but not exploit, these incredible animals.
We really enjoyed our adventure. Our guide was very knowledgeable and keen to ensure that we had a great manatee encounter. Which we did. Loved it.

My husband and I both loved our experience with Nature Coast Manatee Tours. Our Captain was wonderful and made sure we got to swim with the manatees. The boat ride itself was also very nice, it was a perfect day.
We had a flat tire on the way and were going to miss our tour. They rescheduled our tour for the next day and were so understanding and sweet about it. The actual tour and tour guide were amazing! Dante made our trip an experience to remember. The wetsuits and mask and snorkel were like new, I was impressed. We will use this company again!!!
Our group of 6 had a fantastic time with our Captain Dante, relentlessly seeking out the Manatees for our tour.
Our guide, Dante, was incredibly entertaining and helpful. He clearly wanted us to have a good time. We went on a day that was a busy river day so you wouldn't expect to see any manatees, but Dante kept in touch with other guides and made sure we found so sea cows to see and swim with. They were such beautiful, gracious animals. I'd definitely recommend!!
This was super fun! Very friendly crew. We found a female Manatee and calf pretty quickly even with it going into the off season. We were able to swim with the female Manatee for a long time, tho the calf kind of kept its distance. Very enjoyable. It was so fun to watch her little snout move when she was eating moss and when she would come up to get air. Would highly recommend this experience!
