About Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park

For the past 46 years, The Art Colony Association, Inc. has produced some of the country's top-ranked fine arts festivals. Two annual events — Two annual events - Bayou City Art Festival at Memorial Park and Bayou City Art Festival Downtown in the fall — have helped raise over 3.5 million for local nonprofit programs, education initiatives, and Houston parks throughout the Greater Houston area. More than 30,000 visitors attend the Bayou City Art Festival annually, where 19 media formats and 700 visual artists are represented.

The fall festival takes place downtown around City Hall, and features an array of fine artists, food trucks, great beer selection, and music performances in its outdoor tree-lined gallery. There is also a free Children's Creative Zone.

The festival is a sophisticated outdoor gallery under the iconic Houston skyline, transforming streets into artistic avenues bursting with color. Patrons enjoy music, entertainment, food trucks and the Children’s Creative Zone.

The Art Colony Association was established in 1972 and is a the 501(c)(3) non-profit behind the events, donating proceeds to local art non-profits and community service organizations.
