About Oktoberfest Houston

Every year, cities across the United State celebrate Oktoberfest with biergardens and polka music. Oktoberfest Houston is one such party, a day-long celebration with overflowing tankards and festival games. Following a ceremonial keg tapping, 20 varieties of beer from Germany and local breweries foam into souvenir cups, including brews by Paulaner, Hofbrau, and Karbach. Dance along to the music of German bands, or checkout the Olympiad Games including the Stein Race, Barrel Roll, and legendary Brat Toss.

Houston Oktoberfest 2014 Sucked! Totally overpriced. $8.- for a 16 Oz. Plastic Cup of Beer. $8.- for a Bratwurst. Are those people out of their mind. Never again will I go there. What a greedy Bunch of Rip-off Organizers.

The event is nice but will be better if all of us wear German costume. Maybe the promoters should offer a discount to encourage the people to dress up.

More value for the money (include a drink with ticket or something besides just a plastic cup) Have more of a variety of German food and more German food generally since this is Oktoberfest. There were more random food trucks than anything, which was very disappointing

We arrived by 5 and they were already out of most of the beers and the event was very small and for an October fest there was limit food selections we did not stay more than 30 minutes what a let down which I had not wasted my money or time.

I'm not sure what I paid for. I guess the privilege of buying overpriced beer and bad food trucks. I would have rather met up with friends at a bar.

I could not believe how underwhelming Oktoberfest was. It needed more!! We got there at 3:00 and left at 4:00. People standing in a parking lot after paying $20 to get in and drinking $8 beers.. everyone was standing around looking at eachother
