I love this place! There is always an exhibit of interest. The society continually changes exhibits so you want to go back.

It is a beautiful place and we learned a lot on our visit. The food we purchased from the cafe in the basement was all very good. Since it was a nice day, we were able to eat outside with the canal view at an umbrella table. It was a pleasant and memorable experience.

Would highly recommend this interactive museum! The docents were very helpful and really took the time to explain the layout of the museum and answer our questions. The actors in the living photographs went the extra mile to engage with my shy 6th grader helping to spark an interest in history and increase his confidence.
