About La Vida Loca Winery

When the Putz family moved into its home in 1987, it discovered a trove of berries growing on the property. The family first picked the berries for homemade jellies, then Tony Putz began experimenting with winemaking. The hobby soon became a passion, and La Vida Loca Winery was born. The award-winning winery produces a variety of sweet, semisweet, and dry wines crafted from grapes, berries and other fruits, along with cooking wines fermented with vegetables and herbs such as jalapeños, garlic, rosemary and basil. La Vida Loca also hosts numerous events, including "dinners on the deck," overlooking the vineyard, and a reception room for all kinds of celebrations, including weddings, anniversaries, etc. Come and enjoy a glass of wine on the deck and conversation with the friendly staff at La Vida Loca Winery!
