About Fantasy Farms Equestrian Center

The instructors at Fantasy Farms Equestrian Center help students become comfortable with horses both on and off the saddle. During private lessons, instructors focus purely on riding technique. And during more advanced horsemanship and riding sessions, the educators show serious riders how to tend to essential horse-maintenance duties, such as remembering to top off the tank with unleaded hay. The Fantasy Farms team also shares equine enthusiasm in the form of therapeutic riding sessions, which give children with autism and other cognitive disabilities the opportunity to pet and ride horses in a safe, controlled environment.

Be sure to wear long pants. Both Katy and Delancey were delightful and they made two nervous little kids feel confident and assured. The facility is lovely with an assortment of friendly animals. I highly recommend Fantasy Farms, especially for children or anyone who is not comfortable around horses quite yet. Again, long pants, closed shoes, sunscreen and mosquito repellent are needed. Oh, and Delancey likes Starlight peppermints and is as gentle as a lamb.

I arrived after a long drive to the farm and was told, no riding today. no refund and I could not reschedule because of my full schedule. they did not call me to change the day. So my kids were put to work cleaning stalls and feeding the animals. They had fun, but that was not what we paid for.
