So, decades later, when he was watching Hollywood's elite walk the 2001 Oscars red carpet, it sparked memories of the designer fashions his mother used to wear. He then became inspired to curate vintage designer clothing, which he started selling online later that year. The idea caught on, and he eventually expanded to a boutique in the heart of the Las Vegas strip.

Today, Bauman has accrued his own celebrity clients—including Betsey Johnson and Victoria Beckham—who are fans of his colorful, eclectic collection of vintage clothing by designers such as Yves Saint Laurent, Thierry Mugler, and Gucci. In addition to the apparel and accessories, he also stocks quirky prints from local artists.
