I went to this wonderful museum with my granddaughters. The museum was very informative about Roebling & his contribution to modern (suspension) bridge building. He also provided the wire for the first slinky toy. My granddaughters (ages 6 & 12) learned a lot about engineering during this visit. We had a great time & will visit again.
We took my Dad for his 80th birthday. As an engineer he really enjoyed the experience and we all appreciated the staff with their kindness, knowledge and shared stories. We highly recommend this museum.
Owner involved and surprised to learn also a relative of Roebling! Fascinating history. Very welcoming. Had an absolutely fun family time!
Surprised by how interesting the museum was. Fascinating history.
Great place. The docent was very knowledgeable as well.
I took my two young children. It is a quick walk through and very interesting. A great history lesson and close to my house.
Kids loved the wooden bridge outside and walking along the old train tracks.
Great open space outside for kids to be kids. Inside is a little different.
wonderful history to learn right in our own backyard.
Talking to the volunteers at the museum was an added plus!!! Their stories and love of Roebling were quite evident are very interesting. It's a little gem of knowledge right in our own backyard that was technologically so important in the 1930's.
It only takes an hour to go through but if you are a NJ history buff or into bridges this museum was very interesting. My two little boys loved the big train and tractor outside and the tools and bridge models inside.
