About Isleton Cajun & Blues Festival

At the Isleton Cajun & Blues Festival, families chow down on spicy Louisiana cuisine, enjoy lively Cajun and blues music, and practice Zydeco dance steps. Visitors can sample some of the festival's more than 6,000 pounds of fresh crayfish, learn new skills for the kitchen during cooking demos, and move to the tunes of bands such as Dwayne Dopsie & the Zydeco Hellraisers or the Lurrie Bell Blues Band.

The wine and cheese tasting was in no way a $30 value, not even by Napa standards. There was no Italian chocolate cake tasting, and the $15 value of take home wine was marked down to $3 at the "wine sale". Very disappointed

I'm a fire protection consultant and this venue was a disaster waiting to happen. Shame on the promoter and fire professional who approved it. I would not recommend this to anyone I cared for. A complete and udder disaster
