About Middle Georgia Cheer Extreme

The first time Jimmy Redus tried out for cheerleading, it was just a joke with his wrestling buddies. However, when he didn't make the team, cheerleading became a real goal and eventually, a passion. More than two decades since that first tryout, he owns Middle Georgia Cheer Extreme––a cheer and gymnastics training center with its own 11,000 square-foot facility and team of experienced coaches. Tumbling classes, cheer teams, and private lessons train students ages 2 to adult, focusing on the athleticism of the sport and personal development.

Unfortunately the instructor was not uninterested in the children. It is a class for 2-4 years old, you can not expect them to know how to do any of the flips or tumbles. The instructor never one time spoke to the children by name EXCEPT the last class when she told us she was not coming back, I believe she was thrilled not to be there any longer. The main reason we signed up was to learn the proper way to do the flips, tumbles and stretches. We won't be going back. As an aside there were only 4 -5 little girls so it was small and could have been a great experience.
