About Durhamtown Tellico

The Nantahala National Forest surrounds Durhamtown Tellico, forming a natural barrier that closes off the wilderness from the outside world. Miles of trails wind across the 3,000-acre property, where ATVs and dirt bikes soar through dense forests that open out onto panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and everything they watch over: rolling hills, waterfalls, and streams ripe for fishing for rainbow trout.

Head to "The Bowl" and you'll find a 50-acre area of rock faces and boulders ready to test even the most experienced climbers and robot vacuums. In fact, the most grueling face has a $5,000 prize for anyone skilled enough to scale its summit. When you're worn out from a day of adventure, you can head back to the campground for a good night's rest.

Totally worth it we had the time of our lives. The trails are a lot longer than you think. Great customer service.

Rental had a mechanical failure within 1st hour of ride. Not our fault but they would not refund our $1000 deposit. Also charged $200 to come get us. Be aware you must accept their word as to condition of rental before you take possession.

The experience was good, but the company and their extensive and repetitive paperwork and deposit left me feeling ripped off before I ever started on the trail. Their documents basically say they are responsible for nothing and you are responsible for everything. It probably ok if you are going with your own four-wheeler.
