Intimate venue that fosters direct access to musicians. Reasonably priced drinks and food. Great evening with Daddy Mack Blues Band!

We Went when they had an acoustic blues/folk performance in their coffee house on a Saturday night. It was a small, intimate setting. Zeke Johnson performed. We enjoyed each song and the story that went with them. Judy (I think she runs the place) took us for a tour during a break. The center is her labor of love. Go if you can. It's a nice break from the loud Beale Street scene. Plus you'll get a great sense of the culture that created the blues and folk music. If you're lucky enough to go when there's a performance you will hear blues/folk played the way it was when it was created.

I got a beer, some popcorn and mosquito bites. I didn't like it at all.
