About Bellaire Farms

Since 1987, Bellaire Farms owners Kris and Kara Martalock have been teaching horseback riding to pupils of all skill levels. During private lessons, group lessons, and summer horse camps, gentle steeds and experienced instructors help students learn skills such as balance and coordination. Students can gallop outdoors on carpets of grass or, during inclement weather, head to the facility’s heated indoor arena. The conscientious instructors take time to match pupils with an appropriate hoofed partner, but riders are also welcome to take lessons on their own horses.

Absolutely wonderful experience for our 8 yr old who loves horses but knows nothing about them. So much fun for her and just a really beautiful experience.

Gorgeous facility and Kris was wonderful. My great neice got a lot out of the lessons but it’s just too far for us to drive every week.

I cannot say enough great things about Bellaire. My 4-year old daughter so wanted to learn to ride and Olivia and Chandler have done such a great job making her feel welcome and special. Everyone, to include other riders and families are very friendly. Will continue to come back. Highly recommended.
