I love the variety of exhibits. I'm extremely pleased to see that local artists are also featured on occasion. Please expand that practice to potentially include MORE local Milwaukee artists in smaller exhibits.

The Milwaukee Art Museum is an often overlooked jewel in Milwaukee's crown. The Calatrava building is amazing, both inside and out. There is so much to see throughoutthe museum; if you've never been you'll find surprises around every corner. Take your time and enjoy all that the Museum has to offer. Also wander outside to take in the magnificient site of Lake Michigan, which is breathtaking in any kind of weather. One of my favorite paintings is "The Two Majesties" which always easily convinces me to stay and lose myself within it's beauty. The museum is a wonderful place to take children; it's so important to share art (and music and books) with them, and The Milwaukee Art Museum is a perfect place to do just that.
